I currently provide telehealth and in-person sessions. In-person sessions are available Wednesdays in NYC (Midtown) and Fridays in New Canaan, CT. Telehealth sessions are held on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Many people looking for trauma therapy come across Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and for good reason. EMDR is a well-researched, proven treatment that has helped many people move forward from painful experiences.
I do not provide EMDR, as I use comparable treatment models that are considered the gold standard. What’s helpful to know is that leading trauma therapies share many similarities. Evidence-based treatments for trauma are like different GPS apps - the platforms look a little different, but they all use the same technology to get you to the same destination.
Together, we’ll decide on the approach that best fits your needs and comfort level. My goal is to make sure you have access to the methods most supported by science, while also honoring what feels right to you.
