about me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist helping adults and adolescents navigate anxiety, trauma, OCD, and a wide variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. My approach is practical and collaborative, grounded in evidence-based therapies like CBT and ACT, with a strong emphasis on achieving tangible goals.
Shaped by my outdoorsy upbringing in Oregon, my style is calm, approachable, and warm. I bring a sense of steadiness to my work, helping clients slow down, tune in, and take steps toward meaningful change.
Before starting my private practice, I spent several years serving military families and veterans. Those experiences have given me a deep respect for each person’s unique story and strengths. They’ve also reinforced my belief in the power of confronting difficult emotions. Not to eliminate them, but to grow through them and move forward with greater freedom.
At its core, I see therapy as a space where people should feel safe and connected. My most important role in our work together is creating the right environment and earning your trust. With this foundation, we’ll work together to get you where you want to be.

my approach
We often seek therapy when we find ourselves stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that may have worked at one point, but no longer serve us in the lives we’re trying to lead.
The goal of therapy isn’t to erase discomfort or eliminate difficult emotions. It is about building the flexibility and capacity to choose actions that align with our values, even when things are hard.
We’re living in a time of deep uncertainty, which can leave us feeling anxious, powerless, or emotionally numb. Together, I’ll help you better understand the internal and external forces shaping your struggles and give you tools to respond differently. We’ll explore how to move toward what matters.
My approach steers clear of aimless overanalyzing and talking in circles. Together, we look at what’s actually happening in your life: the patterns that are keeping you stuck, the habits that no longer serve you, and the beliefs that are holding you back. My focus is on helping you to make real change in a way that feels meaningful and accessible.
therapies
I specialize in a range of evidence-based treatments, but believe strongly that therapy must be individualized for each person. Everyone comes with their own history, needs, and goals - and effective care should reflect that. While I often draw from behavioral, cognitive, and mindfulness techniques (e.g., CBT, ACT and DBT), I tailor therapy to fit you. We will assess and adapt to find an approach that clicks. I’m here to collaborate with you and create a path forward that is both grounded in research and responsive to who you are. Below are some of the approaches I may integrate into our work together:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Exposure Therapy for Anxiety
Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy for PTSD
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD
Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP) for OCD
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
If you are seeking an approach that isn’t listed above, I encourage you to reach out so we can discuss.
